Leading in a high impact way means immersing oneself in deep learning with a new learning paradigm. This paradigm makes it easy to learn and to stay in the learning process, which continues after the workshop or meeting. Within the new learning paradigm, we focus on conscious learning and conscious leadership which is needed to create the new patterns and abilities we need in this rapidly changing world.
Conscious learning helps us establish new behaviors and actions needed for the future, while unconscious learning reinforces more of the old which may no longer be useful. Meetings are only productive when people are learning, so in this workshop you will learn how you can use this new learning paradigm to support the learning and effectiveness of the people you work with and get the results you are after. In high impact facilitated meetings, participants have the leading role.
Our online learning environment for the workshop
The live portion of this workshop will be delivered in a system called ZOOM which includes interactive video, audio, whiteboards, breakout rooms and chats.
Important: To attend this workshop your computer will need a microphone, speakers and a stable Internet connection.
This is an interactive, extensive course where you will experience what it is like to meet with high impact.
To optimize the integration of your learning, the live portion of this course will be delivered in six(6) 3-hour sessions spread over 6 weeks. Although the live sessions will be recorded for your review, to get the most out of this experiential course, you should plan on attending all the live sessions if possible.
You should also expect 1-2 hours of homework per week in addition to the live sessions.

The self-organized part of the learning in this workshop will take place in our online Learning Management System(LMS). In this system, you will find articles, videos, and homework assignments. You will also be able to access video replays of past live sessions.
To get most out of this workshop it is essential that you do the assignments before coming to the live sessions which will build upon the self organized learning with more questions, discussions and group work. In the LMS you will also be able to communicate with instructors and students from the course to deepen your learning and connection between live events.
Reflecting on my first Genuine Contact course four months later, I can honestly say it's been life changing.
The course helped me name and confirm "truths" about facilitation and leadership that I've been sensing for several years. The workshop you may find unusual if you have never done any type on online training before. However, the models and methods used in bringing people together and getting participants to be present were very interesting and engaging.
A big advantage is that you are able to engage and learn with and from participants from all over the globe. There is no discrimination and the method of learning and engagement actually forces you to expand on the use of your imagination creatively and positively.
The way the program of workshops was put together was very creative and encouraged creativity.
